School Fab Lab brings digital fabrication to the classroom in Beaufort County,
North Carolina. Inner Banks STEM Center, through a Grant provided by The
Cannon Foundation, will introduce students to an exciting, engaging hands-on
project-based program called “Fab Lab”, to at risk kids in underrepresented
communities. These students have struggled with the science and technology
arena and the Fab Lab, with its advanced fabrication technology will help prepare
these teens for high-tech careers.
